As the Front Desk Receptionist of Capo Bay Hotel, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
Your responsibilities will include handling guest inquiries, check-ins, check-outs, and reservations and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanour and provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions. In addition, you will be required to assist guests with check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Reservations:
Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
Ensure accuracy in reservation details and maintain an organised reservation system.
Communication:
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Relay messages and handle guest requests, complaints, or concerns with tact and efficiency.
Payment Processing:
Process guest payments, issue invoices, and provide accurate receipts.
Maintain a secure and confidential handling of cash and credit card transactions.
Front Desk Operations:
Maintain a neat and organised front desk area.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs.
Guest Relations:
Build positive relationships with guests, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their stay.
Address and resolve guest issues promptly and effectively.
Security:
Monitor and control access to the hotel.
Follow security protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Administrative Tasks:
Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining guest records.
Prepare reports on room occupancy, guest satisfaction, and other relevant metrics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and software.
- Customer-oriented approach with a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with composure.
- Should have excellent spoken and written English proficiency, ensuring effective communication in professional and interpersonal interactions.
- Other languages, including Greek, will be considered an advantage.
